Built from experience

Senestro was born from firsthand experience navigating family support and care resources in Ontario. Through years as a care navigator, our founder saw the same problem again and again: families were handed lists of services and organizations, but rarely the personalized guidance they needed to know what was right for their situation.

Finding a resource was only the beginning. Knowing which option to choose, what to ask, what to prioritize and how to move forward took time, research and knowledge of a system that can be hard to navigate.

There was a clear gap between having information and knowing what to do with it. That's what inspired Senestro.

Where our name comes from

The name Senestro is inspired by the historical role of the seneschal: a trusted right-hand figure responsible for helping manage the affairs of a household and ensuring its many moving parts worked together.

We chose it to reflect the role we hope to play for modern families: a thoughtful, dependable guide who helps bring order to complexity, connects the right resources and makes the responsibilities of supporting a loved one feel more manageable.

What we believe

Families shouldn't need to become care-navigation experts to make informed decisions for someone they love. Supporting the people who once supported you is important enough without having to figure everything out alone. With Senestro, you don't have to.
